Anti Anxiety HerbsA handy list of anti anxiety herbs that are relaxing for our nervous system.
Relaxing herbs can be another name for these types of herbs.
These herbs work on the nervous system nourishing, soothing, or giving a slight sedative affect.
Some herbs such as valerian can help with sleeping as well as relaxing,
while others such as oatstraw are a tonic for the nervous system.
The need for relaxing herbs may be varied. Some might need this type of medicinal herbs due to anxiety or even
depression. Others may need these relaxing herbs simply because they have young children in the
house!
Stress and anxiety seems to be a common occurence in many people's lives. Although we can never entirely
avoid the stress, we can do much to prepare ourselves and ease the impact of stress. We can use daily
infusions or herbal supplements as well as make some lifestyle changes.
One of my favorite ways to deal with stress and anxiety is to have a daily infusion. I show you how to make this with
my all time favorite herb - oatstraw! A daily oatstraw infusion "feeds" the nervous
system. It is a wonderful herb for nervousness and exhaustion due to depression.
Having an herbal daily infusion works as a preventative as well as an herbal remedy!
