This eye pillow contains lavender
and its heavenly scent accompanies me to sleep each night.
Rather than using it as an eye pillow I tuck it near my head so I can breathe in the lavender scent as I drift off to sleep.
You can easily make a small sleep pillow like my eye pillow to have near you at night!

Herbal Sleep Pillow
Small muslin drawstring bag or if you have sewing skills a large square of muslin fabric.
Insomnia herbs:
1 Tablespoon lavender
1 Tablespoon chamomile
1 Tablespoon rosepetals
1 or 2 drops lavender or Roman chamomile essential oil. Mix the oils well into the herbs.
Place these herbs in your muslin bag or sew them up into a pillow. Tuck into your pillow at night
or place near your head.
If after time the herbs aren't as effective, simply replace the herbs or
add another drop or two of essential oil.
