Home Remedies for Sore Throats
Throat Compress

Home remedies for sore throats can be as simple as using a scarf and some water.
Sounds too simple? Give it a try!

Similar to the sock treatment described in Home Remedies for Colds the use of water and heat, called hydrotherapy, creates a change in the body.

This throat compress will decrease congestion in the throat and head and will offer some pain relief. It is so comforting when suffering from a sore throat.

A few drops of eucalyptus essential oil is optional but it does help with breathing if you happen to be stuffed up as well.

What you will need:

  4. Cover with a wool scarf, tucking in the ends to keep it in place.
