Homemade CleanersHomemade cleaners for a variety of house chores! Furniture Polish 3/4 cup olive oil 1/4 cup vinegar 25 drops lemon essential oil Mix in a spray bottle. Shake well before each use. Window Cleaner 1 cup vinegar 1 cup distilled water 1/4 cup vodka 20 drops peppermint essential oil Mix in a spray bottle. Carpet Freshener 1 cup baking soda 20 drops orange essential oil 10 drops lemon essential oil Mix together. Sprinkle on carpet. Vacuum after a few minutes. Carpet Stain Remover 1 cup castile soap 1/4 cup glycerin 1 1/2 cups water 1 teaspoon orange essential oil 1/2 teaspoon lemon essential oil Whip ingredients together until foamy. Scoop onto stain and rub gently. Wipe dry with a damp cloth. Leather Cleaner 1/2 cup vinegar 1 Tablespoon olive oil Mix together in a spray bottle. Rub in circular motions with a soft cloth. Leather Cleaner and Moisturizer 4 oz coconut oil 1 oz beeswax 1 oz castile soap 2 oz vodka 20 drops lavender essential oil Melt the oils and beeswax together. Stir in rest of ingredients and store in a jar. Rub small amounts on leather with a soft cloth. All Purpose Floor Cleaner 1/3 cup castile soap 1/3 cup washing soda 1/3 cup borax 1 Tablespoon orange essential oil 4 cups water. Add 1/4 cup mixture to a gallon of water. This is pretty much the same as the homemade laundry detergent.
