Homemade Facial SteamEasy homemade facial steam using herbs and natural ingredients. Give your face a treat!
I admit I don't often take the time for a facial steam.
Hey, I have kids! But when I do I often question why I don't do this more often.
Facial steams are a great way to employ natural skin care. No harmful chemicals, little expense and it is very therapeutic!
A steam deep cleans the pores and increases circulation.
Using this homemade facial steam once a week before a facial mask will open the pores and allow greater penetration of the mask.
Look in your kitchen cupboard for herbs to add to the steam. Herbal tea bags such as mints or chamomile work great for this purpose!
Herbs and spices such as oregano, thyme, sage, basil and rosemary can be used as well. Great way to use up herbs that
might be a little too old for cooking!
Here is a recipe for facial steams using other garden herbs.
Many of these you can grow in your own garden! ![]()
