Homemade Laundry SoapHomemade laundry soap recipe, fabric softener and stain removers using natural cleaning supplies and essential oils. The laundry soap recipe is used a lot for cleaning laundry. I like the addition of the eucalyptus oil for freshening the clothes.Homemade Laundry Soap Reuse an old laundry detergent container...about a 1.5 gallon size. 1/3 cup castile soap 1/3 cup washing soda 1/3 cup borax Place in container and fill with hot water. Shake together. Add 1 Tablespoon eucalyptus essential oil. Use 1/4-1/2 cup per load. For a dry laundry soap mixture: Grate 1 cup pure soap 1/2 cup washing soda 1/2 cup borax 1 Tablespoon eucalyptus essential oil. Mix together well and use a couple tablespoons per load. ![]() Fabric Softener 1 cup vinegar 40 drops eucalyptus or lavender essential oil Use 2 Tablespoons per load. Stain Remover 1/4 cup liquid detergent (see above recipe) 1/4 glycerin 1 1/2 cups water. Place in a squirt bottle and use on stains. OR 2 Tablespoons cream of tartar 4 drops peppermint essential oil enough water to make a paste Mix together and rub into stain. Extra stain remover can be stored in an airtight container. Lavender Linen Mist I love to spritz this on sheets between washings. Freshens up the sheets. 3 cups distilled water 3 oz vodka 30 drops lavender essential oil.
