Natural Headache Cures Feverfew Lemon Balm Tea
Natural headache cures using feverfew and other herbs in a tea will alleviate head aches
Feverfew (Tanacetum parthenium) is used widely for headaches and migraines by herbalists.
Although not conclusive in a number of clinical trials, there are many reports of people suffering from
migraines finding relief when taking feverfew preparations.
The trick appears to be in taking it on a regular basis as a preventative as well as a remedy. It is advisable that feverfew be taken continuously for at least 4-6 weeks before expecting results.

Feverfew is bitter so combining it with an herb that is more pleasant such as lemon balm will help to mask its unpleasant taste. Peppermint leaves could also be used in place of lemon balm. Both lemon balm and peppermint offer added relief for headaches.
If you suffer from headaches or migraines on a regular basis having a feverfew plant in your
garden
would be worth your while. If you live in a climate as I do, where fresh feverfew is not available during the winter, drying or freezing your feverfew leaves will ensure a steady supply of herbal headache remedies.
Some might chew on a couple of leaves straight off the plant. And some might prefer the following tea...
Feverfew Lemon Balm Tea
5 leaves feverfew
5 leaves lemon balm or peppermint leaf to taste
Pour 2 cups boiling water over the herbs and let sit for 15 min. Strain. Add stevia or honey to sweeten.
Drink 3 cups daily or the equivalent of 125 mg of dried feverfew per day.
